To check if a childcarer is approved please have the following information to hand: The full name of the childcarer, their approval number and the Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure (CRBD) number. Your childcarer will have all of this information if they have been approved under the scheme. Please insert the following information into the boxes below: 1 - The full name of the childcarer, checking the spelling as shown on the approval letter 2 - The approval number as shown on the approval letter sent to the childcarer 3 - The Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure number as shown on the CRB Enhanced Disclosure sent to the childcarer Please check that all the information you have entered is correct. Once the information has been correctly entered and the 'Submit' button clicked, the search results will show 'Approved' or 'No record shown'.
